What's a Trim Tab?

Why do you keep asking about the trim?! You're not my CFI!

Yes, aircraft have adjustable trim for flight stability. Some aircraft also have fixed trim tabs permanently added to ailerons or stabilizers like the attached photo.

This trim tabs will cut through the cover like a knife through canvas. We will reinforce or accommodate the trim tab with a pocket to prevent wear. Please contact us about how to measure, as the method and starting point may vary based on aircraft type and model.
